The integration of the EU Taxonomy for sustainable activities and the role of standardisation have become increasingly important for European projects, especially those focused on climate, energy, and digital transitions.

This recent workshop, which occured online on May 23, 2025, brought together representatives from ten EU-funded projects! ENERGATE (organizer), DECODIT, Hycool_it, DEDALUS, RESONANCE, ENPOWER, Weforming, MODERATE, DATAWISE, and RESCHOOL — to exchange experiences, identify common challenges, and discuss practical approaches to interpreting and applying these frameworks.

Workshop Objectives:

• Explore how projects address EU Taxonomy and standardisation requirements
• Highlight barriers and challenges faced during implementation
• Facilitate peer learning and share practical recommendations
• Lay the groundwork for potential future collaboration and joint actions

The insights and outcomes of this discussion are expected to contribute to ongoing policy reflections and help inform future project design and coordination across EU programmes. This workshop marks the beginning of an ongoing dialogue and knowledge exchange among projects working on aligned sustainability issues.
